Change Hogwarts Legacy Character: Can I Customize Face and Body Type Again?

Once you’ve customized your character in Hogwarts Legacy, there’s no way to do so again. However, you can change some aspects of your character’s looks, like hairstyle, hair color, complexion, and voice pitch. Unfortunately, everything else is locked in permanently once you start the game.

Can you change your face and body type in Hogwarts Legacy after you create your character?

Hogwarts Legacy Customize face after start

Here’s what you can’t change once you’ve left the character creator in Hogwarts Legacy:

  • Face Presets
  • Face Type
  • Body Type
  • Skin Color
  • Freckles and Moles
  • Scars and Markings
  • Voice Tone
  • Character Name
  • Dormitory Type

Here’s what you can change throughout the game:

  • Hair Color
  • Hair Style
  • Complexion
  • Eye Color
  • Eyebrow color
  • Eyebrow Shape
  • Voice Pitch

While people are constantly changing their physical characteristics with magic in the Harry Potter universe, that’s not the case in Hogwarts Legacy. During our extensive time with the game, we haven’t found any way to change your character’s basic looks. Of course, there may be some sort of potion, spell, or other means to customize your character again, but if there is, it’s well hidden.

Fortunately, visiting the hairdresser does let you modify some superficial characteristics in Hogwarts Legacy. So, at least you won’t be stuck with a hairstyle you realize you don’t like for the whole game.
