Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood is highly replayable by design. Despite that, some new downloadable content couldn’t hurt. Many players are curious to discover the Back 4 Blood DLC roadmap and learn what’s coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. With that in mind, here’s the latest on upcoming B4B expansion add-ons.

Turtle Rock is yet to reveal any specifics on the exact contents of the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass. The developer previously said it will “figure out the post-launch stuff later,” in favor of delivering the best possible product at release. Stay tuned to GameRevoultion for updates on each of the three upcoming B4B DLC drops.

It isn’t clear what the Annual Pass will include besides nondescript new story, playable characters, and special enemy types right now; there is confirmation, however, that only the party leader needs to own DLC in order for a full team to play it. This should help to stop the player base from becoming split, ensuring greater online longevity for Back 4 Blood.

Owing to the “Annual Pass” moniker, B4B will presumably receive new downloadable content collections on a yearly basis. The length of post-launch support is likely to depend on the game’s performance, though, if it takes off like Left 4 Dead before it, the Back 4 Blood DLC roadmap could grow considerably in 2022 and beyond.
