The Suicide Squad (2021): Does King Shark die?

Does King Shark die in the latest DC Comics movie The Suicide Squad? It seems unlikely that the Sylvester Stallone-voiced King Shark would die in Suicide Squad 2, given that he’s a fan-favorite character who also appears in the Harley Quinn animated series and Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League game, but it could happen. Could there be a The Suicide Squad King Shark death scene? If so, fans are about to be very upset. Spoilers follow!

Does King Shark die in The Suicide Squad?

The Suicide Squad does king shark die

King Shark (voiced by Sylvester Stallone) does not die in The Suicide Squad, which many people will be relieved to hear given that he fast became a fan-favorite character after the trailers.

In fact, King Shark — or Nanaue, to give his real name — is seemingly indestructible. Bloodsport shoots him with his high-powered gun early in the movie and it does little to him, he is attacked by a swarm of cute but carnivorous sea creatures, he is shot at with assault weapons at close range by many soldiers, and is eventually thrown into a building by the massive Starro the Conqueror with enough force to collapse the building on King Shark. And yet, King Shark survives all this with just a few scars and scratches, making him one of the few Suicide Squad members to survive until the end of the movie.
