How to complete ‘Ping Danger in the World’ Call of Duty: Warzone challenge

Much like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), free-to-play addition Call of Duty: Warzone features a variety of challenges for players to beat in order to earn new cosmetic unlocks. These challenges can lean into new mechanics that don’t feature in vanilla Modern Warfare, however, which could make them a little bit confusing at first. As such, here’s everything you need to know about how to complete the “Ping Danger in the World” Modern Warfare Warzone challenge on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Ping Danger in the World

CoD: Warzone introduces a new feature that should be immediately familiar to battle royale fans, though might be somewhat foreign to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare purists. This feature is the ping system, which allows players to quickly and conveniently communicate points of interest to their two Warzone teammates without engaging in voice chat. Locations, items, and enemies are amongst the things that can be “pinged” — for this challenge, as you’d expect, you’ll need to focus on the latter.

How to ping danger in Call of Duty: Warzone

  • Boot up Warzone and launch a battle royale match
  • Play normally until you spot your first enemy
  • Aim down sights at the enemy, but don’t pull the trigger
  • With your sights set on the enemy location:
    • Press up twice on the d-pad if you’re playing on PS4 or Xbox One
    • Press the left alt key if you’re playing on PC

If you did everything right, you’ve now successfully pinged danger in CoD: Warzone. The “Ping Danger in the World” Modern Warfare Warzone challenge should now be complete, and you’ve also learned a valuable tactic that’ll help you and your teammates out in future Call of Duty battle royale matches.
