Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Odessa – How to Recruit Her

What sets Assassin’s Creed Odyssey apart from other games in the series is that it has many options. You can romance multiple characters, and recruit pretty much anyone from the game world to join your crew as a Lieutenant. The first person you can both romance and recruit is Odessa, the supposed granddaughter of Odysseus. In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Odessa is one of our favorite characters, but where do you find her? How do you recruit her? How can you romance her? The GameRevolution love doctor is in.

How to Recruit Odessa in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

You can find Odessa as an optional objective right next to one your first story objectives, at Odysseus’s Palace on the island of Ithaka, next to the starting island of Kephallonia. She’s been captured by bandits there. We advise you to kill all the bandits first, and then release her. She’ll want to explore the ruins, which completes the first part of her quest.

If you want to recruit Odessa as a Lieutenant, you’ll have to find her again and complete her final quest. Once you get your ship the next part of the story will take you to Megaris. A little east of the Valley of King Lelex, just outside the city walls, you’ll meet Odessa caring for her father. She’ll send you for help, first from someone crafting a medicine, who you’ll have to do some help for in return.

Then after returning and fending off some bandits, Odessa will ask you to sneak into the area leader’s house and find proof he’s after her land. You don’t have to kill the leader or ransack the house, just explore the second floor and you’ll find all the clues you need. Then return to Odessa and ask her to join your crew. She’s one of the best Lieutenants you can get in the game, so it’s all worth it.

How to Romance Odessa in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Of course if you want to romance Odessa too, simply choose all the dialogue options with the heart symbol next to them. You can miss the first one, but make sure to get the rest. Additionally, try not to argue with her too much. She might get angry at you. If you’ve done it right however, Odessa and your character will spend the night together. Just don’t expect to see any of it, this ain’t Mass Effect you know…
